Welcome!

From the flight deck, a very warm welcome aboard! My name's Daniel, and I'm excited you've made your way to my site. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself, the site, and what I've got planned for it. As an airline pilot by trade I've been able to interact with a variety of different people and experience a lot of different places. Along the way I've picked up a plethora of information pertaining not only to life on the road, but also knowledge relating to finance and mental health among other things. I feel like my brain is sorta bursting with all of this information, so I thought it would be fun to create a place where I can share all of it with you and hopefully teach you some things along the way! The Sign Up button is purely for post notifications; it will simply send you new posts via email when I publish them.

While I really only intend this first post to be a welcome post, I do want to share that right now is a wonderful time to get into flying. There is quite a bit of hiring going on right now, and I suspect that will be going on for at least the next few years because there are so many people reaching the mandatory retirement age. So, if you've always dreamed of flying planes for a living, now is your chance! That will undoubtedly be one of the topics I talk about on here.

In addition to all the stuff that I write, this will eventually be a place where you can go to view some of the products that I've found to be useful on my travels. I've discovered a lot of useful gadgets that make life on the go easier, and I figure some of you will probably want to know what they are. Stay tuned for more on that. For now, sit back and enjoy the ride!

Happy me in the office!

NOTE: I've taken steps to de-identify anything that might point to who I work for as protection for both them and me. However, if you do happen to figure out who it is or think you may know, just know that they're not in any way affiliated with my site or anything I post and none of my content is intended to be a reflection of my company or their opinions.
